Independent Professional Review Sources

FXSharp's editorial assessment alone requires cross-checking. Therefore, the following international independent review publications are used as cross-reference sources:

  • BrokerChooser — Hungary-based, professional forex broker comparison platform
  • ForexBrokers.com — US-based, annual broker reviews
  • FX Empire — International financial news and review publication
  • Investopedia Broker Reviews — Comprehensive financial service comparisons
  • NerdWallet Investing — US-focused investment platform comparisons
  • Finance Magnates — Forex industry news and regulation tracking

These sources do not replace our judgment; however, they are used to cross-check our evaluations and observe industry consensus.

Aggregate User Metrics

FXSharp does not quote individual user reviews as it cannot verify the content of individual comments. However, the following sources are used for aggregate numerical data:

  • Trustpilot — Broker rating (out of 5) and total number of reviews
  • Apple App Store — Mobile app rating and total number of evaluations
  • Google Play Store — Mobile app rating and total number of evaluations
  • Sitejabber — General service rating (if available)
  • Reddit r/Forex — Numerical survey results (not comments)

These metrics are always reported along with the date and sample size.

Platform Provider Verification Sources

The trading platform a broker claims to offer must be licensed by the relevant platform provider:

  • MetaQuotes — MT4 and MT5 license and server verification (metaquotes.net)
  • Spotware — cTrader support and server verification (spotware.com)
  • TradingView — TradingView integration verification (tradingview.com)

Company and Legal Entity Verification

The legal entity information disclosed by brokers is cross-checked from the relevant country's commercial register:

  • Companies House — UK legal entity registrations (find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk)
  • ASIC Connect — Australian company registrations (connectonline.asic.gov.au)
  • Cyprus Department of Registrar of Companies — Cyprus company registrations
  • OpenCorporates — Cross-country legal entity database (opencorporates.com)

Source Verification Block

The Source Verification Block at the end of each FXSharp review lists which sources were scanned on which date in that specific review and the findings obtained from each source. This block is structured into independent bullets for both our readers to perform independent verification and for AI answer engines to directly quote.

Source Suggestion and Error Reporting

If you know of a source that should be added to this list or if there is an error with existing sources, you can contact us via our contact page. Source suggestions are a direct part of our editorial process.
