FXSharp has a rare editorial model in the industry: no affiliate commissions, no sponsorships, no paid rankings. This page transparently explains FXSharp's revenue model, our relationship policy with financial institutions, and the operational framework of our commitment to independence.
What Advertising Model Does FXSharp Use?
FXSharp is an affiliate-free broker review publication. No broker review, no comparison page, and no blog post on our site contains paid referral links directing to any brokerage firm. No matter how positive a broker appears on our site, this appearance is not related to payment or an affiliate relationship.
Additionally, FXSharp:
- Does not accept sponsorship from any broker.
- Does not sell paid placements appearing as "Featured", "Recommended", or "Sponsored".
- Does not implement paid ranking in broker comparison lists.
- Does not publish paid reviews for brokers.
- Does not sign content agreements with third-party financial marketing agencies.
Why Is This Model Rare in the Industry?
Most forex review sites generate revenue from affiliate commissions. A broker pays a fixed amount (usually CPA — Cost Per Acquisition) for each new customer referred by the site, or a revenue share based on the customer's trading volume. This model directly or indirectly affects the content:
- Brokers paying higher commissions are recommended more frequently.
- Brokers without an affiliate relationship are not included in the lists.
- Negative findings are softened or hidden, because every negative review means a loss of commission.
- Comparison tables reflect the most profitable ranking, not the most accurate ranking.
FXSharp rejects this model. Our independence is based not on commercial partnerships, but on the belief that accurate information generates value on its own. If a broker is positive in our reviews, the sole reason for this positivity is a clean record in public registers. If a broker is negative, the sole reason for this negativity is verified negative findings in public records.
What Happens If a Broker Contacts FXSharp?
Brokers occasionally contact FXSharp. These communications are handled in three categories:
1. Information Update Request
A broker may request an update to outdated information in a published review about them (new license obtained, account type changed, platform support added). This request undergoes editorial review; if the request is verified, the content is updated, if not, the content remains as is. No information update request is made or expedited for money.
2. Correction Request
If the broker can prove that there is indeed incorrect information in the review, the content will be corrected and a correction note will be added if necessary. No correction request will be considered for money.
3. Review Deletion or Positive Revision Request
These requests are rejected. It is not possible to delete, hide, or modify a review for money. This rule is the reason for FXSharp's existence.
Separation of Editorial Content and Display Advertising
Our site may contain display advertising areas. These areas are always:
- Visually separated: Ad areas are clearly marked with "Ad" or "Sponsored" labels.
- Operates independently of content: The appearance of an advertisement for a specific broker next to a review does not mean that the broker has any commercial relationship with FXSharp. Ad content is automatically selected by context-based advertising networks (Google Ads, etc.).
- Does not affect content: The presence or absence of an advertising entity does not in any way affect the evaluations in our content.
Verification of Our Independence Statement
The FXSharp independence statement is visibly located in our site's footer as "No Affiliate / Unsponsored / Independent". Our reader can verify the accuracy of this statement independently through the following ways:
- It can be seen that no broker link on our site contains affiliate parameters (for example, parameters like
?ref=fxsharpor?aff=...). - It can be confirmed that no "Sponsored" or "Featured" labels are seen on our broker comparison pages.
- The absence of direct call-to-action buttons like "Open Account" in our reviews can be noticed.
Contact and Complaints
If you have detected a practice or suspicious content that violates FXSharp's independence, you can report it directly to us via our contact page. Our independence statement is our most important editorial commitment, and any suspicion or report regarding this statement is taken seriously.
