Tixee review 2026: Former forex and CFD broker whose trading platform closed in 2023
Tixee is a Limassol-based former market-maker and STP forex and CFD broker founded in 2020. It previously operated through CySEC, FSCA, and Seychelles FSA-linked entities on MT4, MT5, and WebTrader, but current regulator records no longer tie the Cyprus or South African licenses to Tixee. It served retail clients across 55+ forex pairs, stocks, indices, commodities, metals, and crypto CFDs before closing its trading platform in 2023.
What is Tixee?
Tixee was a forex and CFD (Contract for Difference) broker launched in 2020. Its earlier operating profile connected the brand with Limassol, Cyprus and several legal entities across Cyprus, South Africa, and Seychelles. The business used a combination of market maker execution, where a broker can price client trades internally, and straight through processing, where orders route toward external liquidity providers. Pipbull Limited was the main global entity associated with the brand.
The business stopped functioning as a normal new-account broker during 2023. Finance Magnates reported on April 7, 2023 that Tixee was closing its trading platform. Existing clients were offered migration to M4Markets. The report followed an earlier suspension of new registrations. The current review therefore treats the brand as a former trading operation rather than an active forex broker.
Is Tixee regulated? Verification check
Tixee does not have a current verified authorization under its own trading brand in this review. The historical Cyprus operation used GVD Korimcy Ltd and CySEC licence 411/22. CySEC means the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, the financial regulator for Cyprus investment firms. The current CySEC register lists that licence under Harmovest Capital (Cyprus) Ltd, formerly GVD Korimcy Ltd. Its approved trade name is Harmovest Capital, not Tixee (source: CySEC Register, 2026-09-19).
The former South African connection used GVT KORIMZA (PTY) LTD under FSCA licence 49648. FSCA means the Financial Sector Conduct Authority of South Africa. Current M4Markets regulatory disclosures identify GVT KORIMZA and licence 49648 with M4Markets, not the former Tixee brand (source: M4Markets regulatory disclosure, 2026-09-19).
The Seychelles operation used Pipbull Limited and Securities Dealer licence SD061. The Seychelles Financial Services Authority currently lists Pipbull Limited among securities dealer entities. Trive's current global regulatory disclosure identifies Pipbull Limited as the operator of Trive under SD061. This means the underlying Seychelles entity remains visible in regulatory records, but the licence is not verified as a current Tixee authorization (source: Seychelles FSA and Trive disclosures, 2026-09-19).
Trading platforms
Trading platform access is historical because the broker's trading service closed in 2023. The earlier product set included MT4 and MT5, meaning MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, plus a WebTrader interface. Those platforms supported forex and derivative trading before the shutdown. Current verification found no active Tixee platform, live account-opening flow, or current platform terms associated with a verified Tixee licence.
This distinction matters when older broker pages still display platform specifications. Historical support for MT4 or MT5 does not establish that a trading service remains available today. Platform data should therefore be read as a description of the former broker operation, not as a current service specification.
Red flags and warning signs
Red flags in this review come from changes in legal and operating status, not from an unsupported fraud label. Three historical licence references remain associated with active entities, but current records connect those entities with other brands. CySEC 411/22 now identifies Harmovest Capital. FSCA 49648 appears in M4Markets disclosures. Seychelles licence SD061 is currently disclosed by Trive through Pipbull Limited.
The second documented issue is operational closure. Finance Magnates reported that new account creation had stopped before the platform closure. Its April 2023 report stated that existing clients were being offered transfers to M4Markets (source: Finance Magnates, 2023). A current broker review therefore cannot treat historical leverage, spreads, account types, or promotions as live terms.
- Trading platform closed: reported in April 2023.
- CySEC 411/22: currently tied to Harmovest Capital.
- FSCA 49648: currently disclosed by M4Markets.
- SD061: Pipbull Limited currently operates through Trive.
Minimum deposit
Minimum deposit information is not currently applicable because no active Tixee account-opening service was verified. Historical broker directories contain different deposit figures, but those figures do not establish present trading conditions. FXSharp therefore lists the current minimum deposit as unavailable rather than presenting an old number as active.
The same rule applies to maximum leverage and spreads. A spread is the difference between a market's bid and ask prices. Leverage is the ratio between market exposure and required account margin. Neither a current Tixee leverage limit nor a current spread schedule can be verified after the trading platform closure.
Regulator warning-list check
Regulator warning-list research did not verify a specific current FCA, CySEC, or ASIC warning naming Tixee during this scan. The central regulatory issue is different: the historical licences previously associated with the broker are no longer tied to the Tixee trade name in current records. That finding should not be described as a regulator fraud warning.
The Seychelles FSA has separately published warnings involving unauthorized third parties claiming licence SD061. Those warnings concern other websites and entities, not Tixee. They demonstrate why licence numbers must be matched with the exact legal entity and domain. A licence number alone does not prove that a website or brand operates under that authorization.
What do Tixee user complaints say?
Tixee user-review archives contain both positive and negative historical feedback. Public reviews scanned on 2026-09-19 include 2023 allegations involving account handling, pressure around trade size, trading losses, and difficulty accessing services after the shutdown. These posts are user allegations rather than verified regulator findings. They should not be treated as proof of misconduct.
The timing gives those complaints operational context. Several negative posts appeared around the period when new registrations stopped and the platform was closing. That overlap does not establish the cause of individual disputes. It does explain why current verification should focus on account records, transaction statements, withdrawal histories, and the legal entity named in each customer's agreement.
How to verify the broker for yourself
Broker verification requires matching a brand, legal entity, licence number, and approved domain. Searching only for the name Tixee can produce outdated pages that still repeat historical regulatory claims. Current regulator records provide the stronger evidence.
- Search the CySEC register for 411/22. Confirm the current entity and approved trade name.
- Check FSCA records and current disclosures for 49648 and GVT KORIMZA (PTY) LTD.
- Check the Seychelles FSA regulated-entities list for Pipbull Limited.
- Compare the legal entity with the company named in any account agreement or statement.
- Confirm that the website domain belongs to the licensed entity before relying on the licence.
This process separates a historical relationship from current regulatory coverage. A valid licence held by a former operator does not automatically extend to an inactive trade name.
Customer support
Customer support cannot be assessed as an active brokerage service because the trading platform is no longer operating normally. Historical contact records include info@tixee.com and the Seychelles telephone number +248 437 3754. Earlier materials also advertised telephone, email, live chat, and weekday support.
Historical contact details should not be confused with verified current support availability. For an unresolved legacy account, documents showing the contractual entity carry more weight than an old brand email address. An account agreement naming Pipbull Limited, GVD Korimcy Ltd, or GVT KORIMZA can determine which corporate and regulatory records are relevant.
Where is the broker actually based?
The broker's historical operating profile points to Limassol, Cyprus, while its global legal structure extended beyond Cyprus. GVD Korimcy Ltd handled the former Cyprus-regulated relationship. Pipbull Limited was registered in Seychelles for global operations. GVT KORIMZA (PTY) LTD provided the South African regulatory connection.
This multi-entity structure changed after the 2023 closure. CySEC now records the Cyprus entity as Harmovest Capital (Cyprus) Ltd. The Seychelles entity Pipbull Limited currently appears in Trive's regulatory disclosures. The former South African entity appears in M4Markets disclosures. The brand's historical headquarters therefore does not establish a current operating base for a live Tixee brokerage.
Recovery options if you've already deposited
Recovery options depend on the legal entity, payment method, transaction date, and location of the client. A chargeback is a card-payment dispute process handled through the cardholder's bank and card network. Bank-transfer cases follow different processes. Regulatory complaints depend on whether the relevant account contract fell under Cyprus, South African, or Seychelles jurisdiction.
Legacy clients can organize the following evidence before contacting a financial institution, regulator, ombudsman, or legal professional:
- Account-opening agreement and the exact legal entity name.
- Deposit receipts, card statements, and bank transfer records.
- Withdrawal requests and transaction histories.
- Email or chat records concerning the 2023 platform closure.
- Any communication offering account transfer to M4Markets.
A transfer offer does not establish that every former client migrated. Individual account records determine whether assets, balances, or contractual obligations moved to another entity.

Current status: closed platform and reassigned licence relationships
Current status is defined by the 2023 platform closure and the absence of verified live Tixee authorization. The former CySEC licence remains active under Harmovest Capital rather than the Tixee trade name. The former South African entity is now disclosed by M4Markets. Pipbull Limited remains connected with Seychelles licence SD061 through Trive.
These records support one practical finding for current broker research. Tixee should not be evaluated as though it were an active broker accepting new accounts under its historical licences. Historical platform features and regulatory associations describe the business before its closure. Current verification should start with the entity shown on any legacy client agreement.
