ACY Securities review 2026: MT4, MT5, 2,200+ instruments, $50 entry, and spreads from 0.0 pips

ACY Securities is a Sydney-based multi-asset forex and CFD broker founded in 2011. Licensed by ASIC under AFSL 403863, it offers MT4, MT5, and the ACY Trading Platform with Basic, Standard, and ProZero accounts. Serves retail and professional clients across 2,200+ instruments covering forex, shares, ETFs, indices, commodities, precious metals, futures, and crypto CFDs.

What is ACY Securities?

ACY Securities is part of the ACYLogix group and traces its operating history to 2011. The group describes Sydney, Australia as its headquarters and lists offices in Sydney and Melbourne. Its current brand followed the acquisition of Synergy FX in late 2018 and a subsequent rebrand. The broker serves retail and professional clients through Australian, South African, and offshore corporate entities.

Is ACY Securities regulated? Verification check

The regulation check separates the broker's Australian, South African, and offshore entities. ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Commission) licenses ACY Securities Pty Ltd under Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) 403863. That authorization was verified in FXSharp's prior research. No statutory investor compensation scheme comparable with the UK Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) was identified for these derivative clients.

The South African claim concerns ACY Securities SA Pty Ltd and Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) license 51008. The FSCA is South Africa's financial-market conduct regulator. The broker publishes that license number on its official site. The public-register scan on September 21, 2026 could not independently confirm the claim.

The offshore entity, ACY Capital LLC, is incorporated in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines under company number 2610 LLC 2022. Company incorporation there is not the same as a retail forex license. The prior research therefore classified the overall regulation status as suspicious, despite the verified Australian authorization. Client protection therefore depends heavily on the legal entity named in the account agreement.

Trading platforms

The platform lineup includes MT4 (MetaTrader 4), MT5 (MetaTrader 5), and the proprietary platform called ACY Trading Platform. MT4 and MT5 support automated trading through Expert Advisors, which are scripts that can place and manage orders. The broker also advertises free MetaTrader scripts and a virtual private server, or VPS, for running trading software remotely. The earlier platform verification did not confirm a MetaQuotes-listed server, so MT server status remains unverified.

MT5 carries the broader multi-asset range, including global share CFDs (Contracts for Difference). A CFD is a derivative that tracks price movement without transferring ownership of the underlying asset. ACY states that clients can access more than 2,200 instruments across forex, shares, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), indices, commodities, metals, futures, and crypto CFDs. Product availability can differ by legal entity and client country.

Red flags and warning signs

The main red flag is the gap between a verified Australian license and broader international marketing. The broker states that its South African entity holds FSCA license 51008, but the prior public-register check could not verify it. Its Saint Vincent entity is incorporated locally, yet that registration does not create a forex supervisory framework. These distinctions matter because legal protections depend on the entity holding the client account.

  • Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) warning: acy.com was listed as unauthorized on February 5, 2024.
  • French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) update: acy.com was removed from its Forex blacklist on March 26, 2026.
  • FSCA claim: license 51008 remained unverified in the September 21, 2026 public-register scan.
  • Saint Vincent registration: company number 2610 LLC 2022 is an incorporation record, not equivalent forex authorization.

Minimum deposit

The minimum deposit starts at $50 on the Basic account according to the broker's current site. The Standard account lists a $100 initial minimum, while ProZero lists $200. These entry amounts differ from method-specific payment limits, which can also begin at $50. Bank wire, cards, e-wallets, and some regional payment methods have their own minimums and processing rules.

The broker advertises leverage, meaning market exposure relative to deposited margin, up to 1:5000 through the ACY Trading Platform. Australian retail major-forex leverage is capped at 1:30 under ASIC product-intervention rules. The two figures therefore relate to different account jurisdictions or client classifications. A trader's applicable leverage depends on the contracting entity and instrument.

Regulator warning-list status

ACY Securities appears in a Spanish regulator warning dated February 5, 2024. The CNMV (Spanish National Securities Market Commission) stated that acy.com was not registered with the commission. It therefore said the firm was not authorized to provide investment services under CNMV supervision (source: CNMV warning, February 5, 2024). This warning concerns authorization in Spain, not the validity of the separate Australian AFSL.

France presents a different current record. The AMF (French Financial Markets Authority) stated that acy.com was removed from its Forex blacklist on March 26, 2026. The removal means the French blacklist no longer carried the site at that date. It does not erase the separate CNMV warning, which remains a distinct Spanish regulatory record.

User complaints and aggregate feedback

User feedback is mixed but leans positive in the latest aggregate available during this review. The user-aggregate rating was 4.4/5 from 707 reviews on the September 21, 2026 scan date. Positive reviews frequently referenced support responsiveness and withdrawals. A smaller group reported withdrawal declines, platform glitches, commissions, or trading disputes.

Individual reviews are allegations or experiences, not regulator findings. One 2026 withdrawal complaint received a broker response stating that promotional trading conditions had not been met. Another review reported that a delayed withdrawal was later processed after a trade review. These examples show why account terms, promotions, and withdrawal conditions need separate verification before conclusions are drawn.

How to verify the broker for yourself

License verification is a record-matching process, not a logo check. The Australian record should match ACY Securities Pty Ltd and AFSL 403863 in ASIC records. The license status, address, and permitted services should also match. The account agreement should then identify which legal entity is contracting with the client.

The South African claim requires a separate check against the FSCA register. Search ACY Securities SA Pty Ltd together with FSCA 51008. The September 21, 2026 scan did not verify that record, so the official register remains the controlling reference. A website footer alone does not substitute for regulator confirmation.

  1. Search the regulator's official register using the exact legal entity name.
  2. Match the license number, status, address, and permitted financial services.
  3. Compare that entity with the name shown in the account agreement and funding instructions.
  4. Check current warning lists for the domain and any related entity names.

How does customer support work?

Customer support operates through phone, email, and online chat according to the official contact pages. The broker lists +61 2 9188 2999 for international calls and support@acy.com for email. It also advertises multilingual support on a 24/5 basis. The Sydney office address is Level 18, 799 Pacific Highway, Chatswood NSW 2067.

Support access does not resolve regulatory jurisdiction by itself. Questions about account entity, withdrawal rules, promotions, or leverage should be checked against written terms. The same brand can route clients through different legal entities based on residence. That distinction can change available protections, leverage limits, and product access.

Where is the broker actually based?

The operating headquarters is in Sydney, Australia, while the group uses several legal entities across jurisdictions. ACY Securities Pty Ltd has an Australian registered address in Chatswood, New South Wales. The South African entity lists a registered address in Sandton, Johannesburg. ACY Capital LLC lists an address in Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The broker's history also includes Synergy FX, which ACY states it acquired in late 2018 before rebranding. The firm describes itself as part of the ACYLogix group, alongside related technology and financial-service businesses. This group structure explains why marketing uses one brand while legal documents can show different company names. The contracting entity remains the relevant name for regulatory checks.

Account types and bonus terms

ACY currently lists Basic, Standard, ProZero, and demo account options in its core product material. Basic starts at $50, Standard at $100, and ProZero at $200. ProZero advertises a spread, the gap between bid and ask prices, from 0.0 pip. A pip is a standard price increment used to quote most forex pairs.

ProZero also lists commission from $3 per lot per side. Basic and Standard advertise variable spreads with commission starting from zero. The broker has promoted deposit-credit campaigns with trading-volume conditions, so promotional balances are not equivalent to cash deposits. Current promotion terms should be read separately from ordinary withdrawal rules because volume thresholds can affect bonus conversion.

Is ACY Securities safe? Honest assessment

ACY Securities combines a verified Australian license with unresolved international verification issues. ASIC AFSL 403863 provides a clear regulatory anchor for the Australian entity. The separate FSCA claim remained unverified in the prior scan, while the Saint Vincent registration is corporate rather than equivalent forex supervision. Spain's CNMV warning also remains part of the public record.

The platform and product offering is broad, with MT4, MT5, more than 2,200 instruments, and a $50 entry point. Pricing includes ProZero spreads from 0.0 pip, plus stated commission from $3 per lot per side. The key operational question is which legal entity appears on the account agreement. That determines which regulator, leverage rules, and redress framework apply.

Forex and derivative products carry high leverage; some or all invested capital may be lost. This content is for information only, not investment advice. Verify the broker's current regulation status with the relevant authority's official site before any investment decision.

Frequently asked questions

ACY Securities is regulated in Australia through ACY Securities Pty Ltd, which holds ASIC AFSL 403863. The broker also claims FSCA 51008 for its South African entity, but that claim was not verified in the prior public-register scan. ACY Capital LLC is incorporated in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, which is not equivalent to an Australian-style forex license.
ACY Securities cannot be described accurately as simply unregulated because its Australian entity holds verified ASIC AFSL 403863. The prior review classified the overall status as suspicious because other jurisdictional claims require caution, including an unverified FSCA claim and a Spanish CNMV warning dated February 5, 2024. Those facts do not establish that the broker is a scam.
ACY Securities appears in a CNMV warning dated February 5, 2024, stating that acy.com was not authorized to provide investment services under Spanish supervision. France's AMF had also listed acy.com, but the AMF removed the domain from its Forex blacklist on March 26, 2026. The Spanish and French records therefore have different current statuses.
ACY Securities license verification starts by matching the exact legal entity and license number in the regulator's official register. Search ACY Securities Pty Ltd with ASIC AFSL 403863, then separately check ACY Securities SA Pty Ltd with FSCA 51008. Compare the resulting entity, status, address, and permissions with the company named in the trading account agreement.
ACY Securities advertises leverage up to 1:5000 through the ACY Trading Platform, while Australian retail major-forex leverage is capped at 1:30. Leverage means market exposure relative to deposited margin. The difference reflects jurisdiction, entity, product, or client classification, so the applicable ratio depends on the legal entity and account terms governing the client.
